On the Parent Workshop...I did a BABY SIGNS course....It was really a fun 2-hour session...her (Jamie) living proof that this program WORKS!!, is that her son Shawn came in at the end, and showed us all the signs we asked him for!!

Personal signing experience....Norelle did her first real Baby Sign...she looked up towards the fan and did the 'fan' sign....I was estatic and couldn't believe my eyes and asked her to do it again.....so all the hard work paid off after all.

I am thankful to Jamie from Baby Signs for bringing in the program into Malaysia and would definitely encourage mothers to take up the signs....signing is actually a very natural way of us trying to communicate with our babies.....by seeing them 'communicating' with us using signs, it's the most rewarding feeling.

Personal signing experience....It opens up your child's world to you....Jodie's grandparents, aunt and uncle are equally impressed. My favourite incident so far is when she went through her books (which I used to teach her) and signed on her own without me being there! She was actually reading a book aloud with baby signs.

Time flies by so quickly....Five years down the road, when you ask yourself what you did with your child before they started talking, you will definitely not remember. That is how it was with my 1st child. But for Jodie, I will always remember the way she signs dog, fish and asks for milk in the middle of the night using baby signs!

Personal signing experience.......the more important thing is his emotional development....he truly enjoys himself when communicating a sign, and it does give him a boost in his self-esteem, as can be obviously seen in his beaming face each time. 

Being an early childhood education academic myself, I have long read about the wonders of baby sign language, and now that I have experienced the benefits myself, I will definitely recommend all parents to take up this great signing course.
